The event will utilize the outdoors and outdoor activities to help create a place for female veterans to share and heal together as a family. The day will start off with a meal and time for the veterans to meet each other, socialize, and build camaraderie. As the day goes on, the veterans will have the opportunity to participate in the many amenities that Hick’s Place has to offer including fishing, paddle boating, canoeing, archery, and the famous laser tag in the woods. The goal of the event is to create a safe space for female veterans to share about their service and feel that they are heard, supported, and validated, all while having fun.
